There is a God
A God that turns our cries into laughter
A God that listens and answers
There is a God
A God that paves and gives us shelter
A God that loves us without filters
He listens to the silent cries
He watches our moody days
A God that shileds us from the unending storm
A storm brought about by lust,hatred,unforgiveness and injustice
A storm that we try so hard not to evade
Feelings that we term as human nature,
Feelings that the Lord our God knows nothing about
Feelings that destroy but we are blind and hide behind curtains.
There is a God
Who knows our inner cries
A God that watches us sleep
A God that know no orphans
A God that is not racist
A God that sees us all as one
We fail to worship while our leaders spend to build us holy places to say thankyou,we see as a burden
We fail to remove our shoes as we step on holy ground
We are blinded as we play dice and gamble like those underneath the cross of Jesus gambling for his clothes
We fail to pay tithe for worldly pleasures
But there is a God
A God that forgives all our trespasses
A God that sees through our cloaks
A God that has limitless chances to forgive and bless
There is a God
A God that has no ego,but we are all defined by pride as we fail to worship,as we fail to get down on our knees in church claiming it’s hectic, painful,
A God that was crucified on the cross for our sins and did not say a word ,a God that endured the pain for us all.
There is a God
A God that brought us all into this earth with different reasons and put us here giving us a life of purpose
A life that we don’t have to pay for,
A God that gives without expecting anything in return
A God that is a God
A God that we are meant to worship, not only in our darkest times but when we are living our best lives
A God that knows no difference between refugees and the president, difference between the orphans and the wealthy, a God that gives with open arms.
